  1. Ask me questions about the podcast/story/video content

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

  2. Use Chat History for personal improvements

I think it would be great if the AI can access all of a user's chat history. In this way the AI can provide better conversation and can simulate better to be a real tutor. This feature can also be available only in premium accounts, I think it's worth it.

  3. Can you include the definite article for nouns as a option with flash cards?

I find it helps to remember the gender if you say a noun with la or el before it.

  4. Practice speaking without conversation

I would like to be able to say anything I want without getting into a conversation. I'd like the AI to repeat and correct what I say without asking me a question to move the conversation forward. Ideally rate my pronunciation. I can then use repetition of the same or modified sentence to improve. I read a blog on Duolingo that said to learn to think in a language start by saying the first things that come into your head (it doesn't have to make sense) and over time put related words together and then eventually form sentences. Repeat as often as necessary for your brain to understand the words without translation.

  5. Allow us to copy the text from ours and the AI’s text bubbles

At the very least a copy of the complete bubble should be available as a button or upon long-pressing on the bubble. Even more useful would be the ability to freely select the text to copy.

  6. International Phonetic Alphabet to improve pronounciation

One problem for foreign language learners whose native language is based on the Latin alphabet is that the person will pronounce a foreign word base on the sounds of his mother language. This action is a natural phenomenon, but unfortunately, the majority of the language learners are never or barely taught the nuances of vowels and consonants of a new language. We may learn the basic sounds of long vowels, but not those of short vowels, and rarely of consonants. IPA is an attempt at clarifying these sounds for each language in a written symbolic format. It would be ideal if the option were available to include these IPA symbols with the audio for the main word in a translation or for the flash cards. Since not everyone would like to learn these symbols, this should be a user initiated option (turn on or off).

  7. AI recommendation on daily learnings

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

  8. Automatically show Flashcard words in a sentence when they're first introduced or you're still learning them

Flashcards are an alright way to learn things in extreme isolation for me, but when I'm first seeing a word (via the high frequency words, for example), or I'm just struggling to grasp a particular word, they just have no mental anchor to help me learn them. We can already see usage examples after we've revealed the answer, but for me it'd be really useful to reenforce a word's usage in context early and often so I can better cement its meaning and how I'd use it. So I'd love to see more fleshed out flashcards instead of just lone words, without having to populate them myself through stories or custom imports.

  10. Include a possibility to read and then discuss an article

Could you add a possibility to read through an article and then talk about it, maybe by summarizing it, and then answering questions about it?

  11. Option for traditional Chinese characters

Hi, It would be amazing if you could include traditional characters in for your Mandarin Chinese course. This would be super helpful for those of us learning for Taiwan/ROC!

Could you add a phonetic transcription next to every word? I must check it in other dictionaries which I find time consuming. Thank you.

  13. Prepositions practice?

Hi! Love the AI feature: it's helping me tremendously with my speaking. Is it possible to have some kind of preposition game / activity? At this point, for me anyway, the words that Langua picks up as errors all have to do with using "a", "de" or "en". Thanks for considering my request!

  14. Quick Switch Between Between Languages

The app is excellent and very well designed — I really enjoy using it. One suggestion I have is to make it easier to quickly switch the language I want to learn. Sometimes, in my case, I’m studying different languages at different proficiency levels: for example, my English level is different from my Spanish level, and my Italian level is different again. I would love to be able to switch between these modes more quickly. At the moment this is possible, but it requires going through the app settings, which makes the process a bit cumbersome. Additionally, it would be great if the app could keep certain settings, such as the speaker or voice configuration while witching between languages.
