  1. Level Assessment (A1-C2)

Is it possible to get an idea of the level that one person is currently at when downloading the feedback?

  2. AI recommendation on daily learnings

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

  3. Ask me questions about the podcast/story/video content

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

  4. Can you include the definite article for nouns as a option with flash cards?

I find it helps to remember the gender if you say a noun with la or el before it.

  5. Marking flashcards for deletion

It would be great if there was a way to have flashcards automatically be deleted from the deck once you know it x number of times in a row (# to be set by the user). Barring that, it would be great if there was a way to mark a card for deletion from the card itself. I like to delete cards once I feel I really know them, but if you have a couple hundred in your stack, it can be difficult to sort through and find the correct one in a long list after you have finished a review session. It would be much easier to just be able to mark/delete it when you are looking at the actual card.

  6. Track Time Spent in AI Conversations and Permit Goal-setting

Feature requested: When ending an AI chat or selecting feedback, provide the total time spent in that chat.Provide cumulative time results by day, week, month, and all-time. You can use a calendar graphic or simple table to display results--or any other useful UI. Perhaps you could at a "Progress" link to the main menu. Provide the option to set daily, weekly, or monthly conversation time goals and have the site display progress toward those goals.

  7. Practice speaking without conversation

I would like to be able to say anything I want without getting into a conversation. I'd like the AI to repeat and correct what I say without asking me a question to move the conversation forward. Ideally rate my pronunciation. I can then use repetition of the same or modified sentence to improve. I read a blog on Duolingo that said to learn to think in a language start by saying the first things that come into your head (it doesn't have to make sense) and over time put related words together and then eventually form sentences. Repeat as often as necessary for your brain to understand the words without translation.

  8. Availability of verb conjugations

It would be nice not to have to leave you site to find the full conjugation of verbs used. Often one simply learns the first and second person, especially in the guided course. I have to frequently use Reverso to check out how the remaining persons are conjugated. Clicking or otherwise, on a verb and been shown the remainder of the conjugation in whatever tense would be an excellent facility.

  9. "More Natural Way to Say It" instead of (or in addition to) "Alternative"

If I speak awkwardly, the "alternative way to say it" does already show me a more natural way, but if I already said it a good way, I don't want it to change it, so I know that what I said was good.

  10. add some example prompts for the "design my own" feature

Hello I am enjoying my subscription to the app. But I am not a habitual user of AI services. So while the concept of providing a custom prompt sounds cool to me, Im not sure how to go about doing it. Does it create a new exercise type based on my description? Does it alter the overall behavior of the chats and role plays? I checked the help pages and watched the explainer video but there was no guidance regarding this topic. It would be cool to have a "cookbook" of example prompts (could even be community driven!) -- or at least some documentation on how to maximize the use of this feature. Thank you!

  11. Do not autoscroll to bottom of chat

Hello, I am trying to review my previous chat sessions and re-listen to each segment again, but after I listen to any sentence in the chat it autoscrolls to the bottom of the page. Then, I have to scroll all the way back up to listen to the second sentence, and the same thing happens. I get that during conversation it's necessary to continue the scrolling to the current/previous statement, but during review it becomes a hinderance rather than a convenience. Perhaps a simple checkbox that turns autoscroll on/off. Cheers.

  12. Make points more relevant to input

The points system awards points per response, however for more advanced learners, the responses can be long or complex. If I want to have a meaningful conversation, where my input is substantial, it seems that my reward is fewer points than if I give short monosyllabic answers. For serious learners, the points, leaderboard and streaks are not really that important, but I do feel that the greater effort to develop more complex conversations should be reflected better. The benefit of having a conversation partner should be to improve your conversation skills, not just give short answers.

  13. Seeing progress in fluency

I would appreciate perhaps a weekly/monthly periodic overview of progress. Whilst the App has definitely improved my confidence in speaking freely without worrying about errors, I dont really know if I am progressing. Also, during chats I consistently make the same errors re gender agreement, and appreciate the AI picking those up for me but I dont need a full explanation of the error each time. Thanks

I noticed that traditional is a sub choice with the Taiwan flag attached. if your comfortable identifying Taiwan let's just have it as 2 separate languages
