Ideas & Feedback
Submit IdeaWe're always working to improve Langua, and your feedback is appreciated. You can submit ideas via the red button above, and you can vote on ideas by clicking the number next to each idea. This feedback tool is specifically for Langua, rather than LanguaTalk (tutoring). If you have feedback on the tutoring side, or if you experience errors/bugs on Langua, please email us instead, or message us via the Help button at the bottom of this page. Thank you! P.S. you can see the latest updates here.
Add articles to nouns in the vocab
Since it's necessary to know if a noun is feminine or masculine it would be helpful to include the article.

Allow ability to click to select words to practice vocab with AI
The vocabulary practice with AI is amazingly powerful, but I would like a systematic way of choosing which vocab I want to practice rather than just "Last 12 added" or "Last 24" (FOR AI STORIES) or "Recently saved vocab" "Almost learned vocab", "Difficult vocab (COMMUNICATE WITH AI) You could do some tick boxes or something to choose words before you start the AI.

Please produce an App
I don't often have time to set aside to watch videos. listen to podcasts etc so I would find it really handy if you had an app which i could open and work on/listen to whenever i have a few minutes. I find that having to go to Safari and log in is enough to put me off doing it and I end up using a language app instead. When I do find time to listen to your videos, they are really interesting - a lot more so than those provided by other language apps but the ease of using your platform is putting me off renewing my subscription.

Add images to flashcards
Images would be useful for visual learners

Show word gender and type on flashcards
It would be very helpful to indicate on the vocabulary flashcards the gender of nouns and whether the word in question is a noun, verb, etc.

I would like to hear recordings of myself speaking in my target language

Ask me questions about the video content
I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

include infinitive of verbs in flashcards
Could the option to include the infinitive of a verb be included when the selected word is in a different tense? Eg fu - essere.

Export vocab to CSV format (to import into Anki, etc.)
Many people use Anki (or other apps/platforms) as the SRS app of choice to study vocabulary. Anki, as many other tools, have an import function that supports CSV format. So it would be great if the vocab list entries could be exported to such format (or some other that is functionally similar, like XLSX) to import them into other applications.

Repeat flashcard until the word is known - on first review
Currently when first going through the flashcards, all words are only presented once then the interface advises us to wait for 72 hours. However where words are not known I want to continue to βworkβ on these in the flashcards section until I know them, rather than wait for 72 hours. If I override this and repeat the review then I am also shown words I do know (and I presumably mess up the spaced repetition stats on those?)

Audio review (flashcards) mode
An audio-only flashcards mode, where the AI doesnβt ask for a response, instead just going through flashcards by saying the word then its translation 5 seconds later, after you've had time to guess. It would be a good passive way to practise whilst exercising, washing up, etc.

Mock exam
This could gain more attraction from the language learner if this platform has a Mock exam feature to assess proficiency level. For example in learning English, people want to know how much score they will get in IELTS exam. The mock exam should have the same structure as the actual exam: Listening Reading Speaking Writing It's not only limited to English but it can also be expanded to other language. French = DELF/DALF Dutch = NT2 German = TestDaF Chinese = HSK the list will go on and on

AI speaker could have a few memories to share as well
I asked my AI what he did as a child and he said he couldn't respond to that (or inferred that). I wanted to hear him use the preterite/imperfect forms. Perhaps give the AI some simple memories? Is it possible to program some memories into his repertoire, so that we can ask questions and he can respond with some past tense forms or what kind of food he likes? Question asking is an important skill to have.

Add line breaks when typing on PC
When typing into the AI chat interface on PC, it's not currently possible to add a line break for a new paragraph. The return key just sends all of the text you've already typed into the box, and the common workaround of holding down shift and pressing return for a line break, doesn't work on Langua's AI chat interface. I'm sometimes typing quite a lot into the interface and I'd find it helpful to be able to do add line breaks, as I can on Android.

Improving AI stories
I think it would be a useful feature if the AI stories could focus on grammar as well as vocabulary . For example, if one could ask the AI to write a story using subjunctive pasado it would allow users to see that form used in the context of a larger sample, rather than the single sentences asked by the AI in the conversation section.
