Hi team, would it be possible to hear a little sample of each AI voice in the settings before selecting which one you want? For now, you need to choose someone then start a chat with them to see if you vibe with the voice. Maybe it's not a huge deal for some people but feeling comfortable with the voice is important for me. Thank you!!

It would be practical to have an offline mode where there is no data usage. While driving or travelling that would be great. Also a hands free mode where while driving you can practice your saved vocabulary. Already an amazing app, but this would be a significant improvement i feel Thanks!

You have so many amazing features, but I often don't know they exist or how I can use them effectively. I have watched the short video guides, but it would be great if there was written documentation or a written guide of all your features (website and app). It would be great if you could include these: What features existIdeas for how to use them effectivelyHow it works behind the scenes (e.g. I saw something about pronunciation for particular languages, but I don't know how this works in call mode. Or how you give the AI prompts behind the scenes so I know how best to write my own prompts.)

Is it possible to get an idea of the level that one person is currently at when downloading the feedback?

This is a very bright website. Literally. Please make a dark mode for those who prefer it. Dark Mode is also better for those who enjoy studying at night as well.

I'm learning a few languages concurrently but at very different levels. It will be good to add the function to easily switch among languages.

Like there is vocabulary, it would be good to create a list of French idioms.

It should not be so hard to toggle between languages. Many of us are learning languages at different levels, and have a lot of different needs (speed, etc) for each. It's such a pain to manually switch each of the different settings each time, and then switch back, that I just don't even do it. If there were a one-button switch to move me between my advanced French and beginner Portuguese and Intermediate German, I would order a premium subscription. I could easily practice three languages a day for more than a half hour. As it is, it's just not worth the effort to be constantly fiddling with the settings, and so I use Langa only for French and use Duolingo for the others. This request has been made before, but it's such an obvious need, and probably such a doable fix, that I have to say it again more clearly, and by highlighting the practical consequence: the absence of this feature is driving business elsewhere. Thank you!

I asked my AI what he did as a child and he said he couldn't respond to that (or inferred that). I wanted to hear him use the preterite/imperfect forms. Perhaps give the AI some simple memories? Is it possible to program some memories into his repertoire, so that we can ask questions and he can respond with some past tense forms or what kind of food he likes? Question asking is an important skill to have.

What I would like: I want the ability to upload or take a photo within the app and have the AI tutor use it as a prompt for a conversation or a description exercise. ​Why I’d find it useful: ​Contextual Relevance: It’s much more motivating to learn how to describe my own life (my dog, my office, my dinner) than to describe generic stock photos. ​Vocabulary Gaps: Using my own photos helps me identify specific words I actually need in my daily life but might be missing from the standard curriculum. ​Emotional Connection: We remember language better when it’s tied to personal memories and real-world experiences. ​Interactive Learning: It turns a static lesson into a dynamic exchange, making the AI feel more like a real-life partner who is interested in my world.

The instructions say to Tap or Press & Hold the button to record our answer to the Chatbot. It is super irritating to tap it, but it does not start recording. Then, I press & hold it, but for how long? Do we hold the record button down the whole time we are talking? Then press the Send key to log our response? I want that record button to turn a different color when it is engaged. Not just a pulsing of its edges. Make it change color so it is CLEAR that we are being recorded. I want to tap it once, it changes color, I speak and when I am done, I press send. Pressing and holding a button down is not a good option as it is super difficult to do if you are holding a phone. Tap once, button lights up, talk, send.

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

Similar to how you can select phrases, etc, an option to conjugate (maybe present indicative by default, with options to select others)
