  1. Allow ability to click to select words to practice vocab with AI

The vocabulary practice with AI is amazingly powerful, but I would like a systematic way of choosing which vocab I want to practice rather than just "Last 12 added" or "Last 24" (FOR AI STORIES) or "Recently saved vocab" "Almost learned vocab", "Difficult vocab (COMMUNICATE WITH AI) You could do some tick boxes or something to choose words before you start the AI.

  3. Add articles to nouns in the vocab

Since it's necessary to know if a noun is feminine or masculine it would be helpful to include the article.

  4. Show word gender and type on flashcards

It would be very helpful to indicate on the vocabulary flashcards the gender of nouns and whether the word in question is a noun, verb, etc.

  5. Ask me questions about the video content

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

  6. Please produce an App

I don't often have time to set aside to watch videos. listen to podcasts etc so I would find it really handy if you had an app which i could open and work on/listen to whenever i have a few minutes. I find that having to go to Safari and log in is enough to put me off doing it and I end up using a language app instead. When I do find time to listen to your videos, they are really interesting - a lot more so than those provided by other language apps but the ease of using your platform is putting me off renewing my subscription.

  7. include infinitive of verbs in flashcards

Could the option to include the infinitive of a verb be included when the selected word is in a different tense? Eg fu - essere.

  8. Export vocab to CSV format (to import into Anki, etc.)

Many people use Anki (or other apps/platforms) as the SRS app of choice to study vocabulary. Anki, as many other tools, have an import function that supports CSV format. So it would be great if the vocab list entries could be exported to such format (or some other that is functionally similar, like XLSX) to import them into other applications.

  9. Ability to easily switch between languages learning

It's cumbersome for me (only 2 weeks into using your site) to switch languages. I am working on 4 different ones, all at different levels. I found today, that asking while in Spanish for a created new story from my saved vocabulary resulted in some German words being added into the Spanish and some made up words, too. I imagine you all will work this out over time and as AI develops. Thank you for all you are doing! This tool is amazing.

  10. Add line breaks when typing on PC

When typing into the AI chat interface on PC, it's not currently possible to add a line break for a new paragraph. The return key just sends all of the text you've already typed into the box, and the common workaround of holding down shift and pressing return for a line break, doesn't work on Langua's AI chat interface. I'm sometimes typing quite a lot into the interface and I'd find it helpful to be able to do add line breaks, as I can on Android.

  11. Repeat flashcard until the word is known - on first review

Currently when first going through the flashcards, all words are only presented once then the interface advises us to wait for 72 hours. However where words are not known I want to continue to β€˜work’ on these in the flashcards section until I know them, rather than wait for 72 hours. If I override this and repeat the review then I am also shown words I do know (and I presumably mess up the spaced repetition stats on those?)

  13. Add ability to quickly import a word/phrase without using the Google Sheet method

I enjoy using the AI features of Langua with vocab. Sometimes I hear a word and would like to practice it. But there's no way to do that other than firing up Google, open a Google sheet, importing, etc. Could you please put the ability to just add a new word in the vocab section, please? Thanks. It would be very, very helpful. Leave the ability to import words - that's great - but add this.

  14. Automatically show Flashcard words in a sentence when they're first introduced or you're still learning them

Flashcards are an alright way to learn things in extreme isolation for me, but when I'm first seeing a word (via the high frequency words, for example), or I'm just struggling to grasp a particular word, they just have no mental anchor to help me learn them. We can already see usage examples after we've revealed the answer, but for me it'd be really useful to reenforce a word's usage in context early and often so I can better cement its meaning and how I'd use it. So I'd love to see more fleshed out flashcards instead of just lone words, without having to populate them myself through stories or custom imports.

  15. The ability to add a single word from outside of langua without the Google sheet

Im surprised that’s not already a feature. If im listening to something or talking to someone in real life and i hear a word i don’t know, i keep track of it. Right now, i have to use the spanishdictionary app or another flashcard app. I just started langua but it seems like the only way to do that in here is to start a chat, go to the translate button and type the word then add it from there or add it to a google sheet and import it but those are a lot of steps to do something so simple. I’ve added a few words from a podcast i was listening to on spotify this morning and had to do that every time. Aside from that and the limited number of accents the platform is awesome so far.
