I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

I think it would be great if the AI can access all of a user's chat history. In this way the AI can provide better conversation and can simulate better to be a real tutor. This feature can also be available only in premium accounts, I think it's worth it.

It should not be so hard to toggle between languages. Many of us are learning languages at different levels, and have a lot of different needs (speed, etc) for each. It's such a pain to manually switch each of the different settings each time, and then switch back, that I just don't even do it. If there were a one-button switch to move me between my advanced French and beginner Portuguese and Intermediate German, I would order a premium subscription. I could easily practice three languages a day for more than a half hour. As it is, it's just not worth the effort to be constantly fiddling with the settings, and so I use Langa only for French and use Duolingo for the others. This request has been made before, but it's such an obvious need, and probably such a doable fix, that I have to say it again more clearly, and by highlighting the practical consequence: the absence of this feature is driving business elsewhere. Images would be useful for visual learners

I'm brushing up on my French and I would like the option to create flashcards of unfamiliar words with the definition in French instead of the English word. I think this option would appeal to everyone who isn't an absolute beginner.

I would like to be able to say anything I want without getting into a conversation. I'd like the AI to repeat and correct what I say without asking me a question to move the conversation forward. Ideally rate my pronunciation. I can then use repetition of the same or modified sentence to improve. I read a blog on Duolingo that said to learn to think in a language start by saying the first things that come into your head (it doesn't have to make sense) and over time put related words together and then eventually form sentences. Repeat as often as necessary for your brain to understand the words without translation.

Its hard to find duplicate flashcards. If we could sort them alphabetically we could easily edit our list.

With this they can check out their progress and they can well organize the cards, how i meant that they can well oraganizes the cards; now pardon by removing these features but instead of «Difficult words, Almost Learned, Learned» I want you to add; 5 boxes(customizable) replacing those three. «Not Learned, Saved list» remain still, with this is way more entertaining and enhances the muscle retention. IDEA OF WHAT WILL BE IN THOSE BOXES: Box 1: Daily Grind | every day | NEW / WEAK ITEMS Box 2: Twice Weekly | every 2 days | GETTING STRONGER Box 3: Weekly Check | every 4-7 days | SOLID RECALL Box 4: Biweekly Boost | every 14 days | LONG-TERM Box 5: Mastery Vault | every 30 days | MASTERED Boxes will be customizable including the dates. This method is great for retention and even less overwhelming with other thousands of cards.

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to stop the chat history from automatically moving to the end of the chat while I was looking back at the conversation and taking notes? Also, it'd be helpful to be able to replay the whole conversation in just one click, rather than having to click on the play button on each chat.

It would be nice not to have to leave you site to find the full conjugation of verbs used. Often one simply learns the first and second person, especially in the guided course. I have to frequently use Reverso to check out how the remaining persons are conjugated. Clicking or otherwise, on a verb and been shown the remainder of the conjugation in whatever tense would be an excellent facility.

After favoring words, it would be nice if they were bolded to stand out. And when they come back in conversation, having them be bolded would help with memorizing vocabulary. And maybe it's be cool to slide up the bottom panel or something to open a panel of the new words learned/saved during the conversation to recap the convo.

Is it possible to get an idea of the level that one person is currently at when downloading the feedback?

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

I added a word to my vocabulary from chat at some point using the default 'Add to Vocabulary' button inside the word popup. I came across this word later and didn't realize it had already been added since there wasn't any indication as far as I remember. This time, I expanded the 'All Meanings' section and clicked the add button next to all 3 of the definitions shown since they were different enough to be worth remembering. When going through my vocabulary list later, I noticed that I now had 4 entries for this word, each with a single definition. There are a few issues with this flow: If I'm seeing a word in a chat that is already in my saved vocabulary, it should indicate that in some way. This indication should not only be inside the word popup, but it should also be emphasized some way within the chat. The latter is the part that provides that extra signal to the brain of either "you've saved this word in the past, so nice job remembering its meaning this time" or "you've saved this word in the past and still had no idea what it meant this time, so maybe you should do some focused practice with it". If I add multiple definitions to a word, they should be added to a single vocabulary entry. In my example above, I would expect a single entry for this word with 4 definitions. I would understand the duplication if this were a word that had been saved with different conjugations or declensions, but this was a basic standalone adjective with the exact same spelling. I think that the worst offender in this case was when I added multiple meanings for a word within the same popup and it resulted in separate entries for each of those meanings.
