  2. AI recommendation on daily learnings

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

  3. Better auto send feature in the car

It would be great to be able to talk to your AI coach while driving. For some commute can be hours, this time could be put to great use. The only problem is that the auto send feature (it sends what you have just said as soon as it detects a silence) doesn't work in the car. Even when everything is turned off in the car, the noise of the engine is enough for the app to never detect a silence and so never sends your message. You have to manually click on the arrow to send which is not ideal while driving. The feature works fine in the house so I'm thinking with just a little tweaking this could be resolved. Hope this gets voted, thanks for your work

  4. Substitution drills

I have not asked the bot if it can do this but assume it would need to be programmed. Under the Grammar Practice section, it would be cool to have substitution drills. The Ai would provide a sentence or phrase and then an individual word that prompts the learner to include the word in the sentence or phrase. He/She would have to change the sentence (probably conjugate verbs) in order to make the sentense or phrase work. For example: AI: Tiene un libro....auto Learner: Tiene un auto AI: Tengo Learner: Tengo un auto AI: Quiero Learner: Quiero un auto It can just keep going on. This method is used in the FSI courses which are in the public domain. Those courses use dated language, however, and can be dreadfully boring...but they are effective. I would love if this was possible with Langua.

  5. Flashcards should include noun pluralisation, as well as gender.

Gender is important in Germanic (and other) languages, but so is pluralisation. German in particular has non-predicable ways of pluralisation. I have been taught to learn each new-to-me noun with gender and pluralisation as a unit. It would be helpful if Langua generated flashcards could always include pluralisation as well as gender.

  6. Periodic email updates on upcoming features

As part of the membership, it would be great if we could receive quarterly or occasional updates on when the next release is dropping and what new features/improvements it contains. Now we can only scroll thru this list and view comments or as the question of when it is coming. Instead of users having to solicit this type of information, can you push out an email?

  7. Expanding Language Offerings

I’m a big fan of your platform and a current subscriber β€” I really appreciate all the work you’ve done to make language learning both accessible and engaging. I wanted to suggest considering the addition of lesser-served but culturally rich languages, specifically Slovak. While I noticed you offer Czech (which is somewhat similar), Slovak has its own unique nuances and a distinct cultural identity. It’s often overlooked on other platforms, yet there’s a growing demand from heritage speakers, travelers, and language enthusiasts who would love to have a high-quality option for learning it.

  8. How many words to repeat in flashcards

i use a lot of learning with flashcards and it would be very useful to know how many of them I have to repeat that day. For now we can only see total and how many are new/incorrect. It would be also useful to know when each word will be repeated but it is less important than the total of words to repeat

  10. Improvement needed in Italian grammar

The grammar chat for Italian B2 are too formal and literary for conversation. With the causative construction, it's encouraging me to use 'pur + gerund' for 'despite '. It's grammatically correct but too formal. My Italian tutor and other sources tell me to not use it in spoken language. For the multiple choice options, I have correctly chosen the speech equivalent, such as 'anche se ', and the bot tells me I'm wrong. This too has been confirmed by my tutor.

  11. bookmark location in video / podcast

It would be nice if you could bookmark how far you have got in a series of videos or a podcast so that you can go back to that point and pick it up from there. For example I am listening to an audio series that has 150 short episodes...at some point I am going to forget how far I have got!!

  12. give conversation access to tagged vocabulary lists

I wanted to practice grammar using my vocabulary that I have spent hours uploading, and just learned that the grammar practice function cannot access my tagged lists. This is a serious problem because I want to practice my grammar lists and language at the same time. Please give the entire app access to the other parts of the same app - I mean, the data is right there on your servers.

  13. AI Stories should include conversation dialog style

As an experienced language learner I focus on reading conversations to learn how people interact in the target language. I would prefer to see dialogs created using my vocabulary list, like a script from a movie. Currently I use other AI tools to create such dialog scripts, but its more tedious to create the right prompt with all the instructions. I am sure it would be better here with your dropdown options.

  14. The Talking Function (new issue)

This is more an issue than an idea. When you have a lot of speaking scrip that goes down the page a long way. When i go back to the top to read over from the start the page keeps flipping to the bottom for some reason. I need to then go back to the top and it takes time to find where I was. Not sure why it automatically flips to the bottom or your most recent text but its really annoying. If you flip to the top/the start of your text and you want to read from start to finish the page should not keep flipping to the end. I can see the logic that its taking you to your last point but you would not be flipping to the start if you didn't want to do that. Can you make the necessary fix please.

  15. The talking function

I think when you are talking to the AI and they send a response at the beginner to intermediate level you need to be given more time to read their response digest the corrections, even take note etc, then you can reply. When they respond you feel rushed to answer and you therefore can't read the corrections and take note of them, your just in a rush to respond. Apart from that its great
