  2. AI recommendation on daily learnings

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

  3. Ask me questions about the video content

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

  5. Follow up exercises on corrections

Feedback reports are really useful, but they are not actionable. Once you make a mistake and Langua offers you a correction, both get lost in the chat history. It would be very useful that Langua had some kind of exam/practice/review mode (with dedicated modules, ideally) where the system retests you on the grammar points, words or phrases you fail during the chats.

  6. VocabAI stories

Please add the ability to name the AI-generated stories. Iā€™m planning to create a lot of them with new words and phrases and listen to them. Also, there is no option to delete the unwanted one. Another thing: the ability to choose the words from the vocabulary to create AI stories, not only the last 12 or 24 words. Perhaps to add them manually or with the help of the hashtags. Or the ability to create thematic folders in the vocabulary section to add related words and use them for AI stories.

  7. Ability to easily switch between languages learning

It's cumbersome for me (only 2 weeks into using your site) to switch languages. I am working on 4 different ones, all at different levels. I found today, that asking while in Spanish for a created new story from my saved vocabulary resulted in some German words being added into the Spanish and some made up words, too. I imagine you all will work this out over time and as AI develops. Thank you for all you are doing! This tool is amazing.

  8. multiple words selection in the app.

It would be so useful to be able to select few words in the app as it is on the website. I really like the website version and I hope that in the future the app will have more of the things from website. In general you are doing really good job, and the website version is helping a lot with learning progress.

  9. Allow Beginner Chat the Option to choose whether or not to include Auto Translation

I appreciate the level of complexity that beginner chat provides. But the Auto Translate distracts from being able to process the Italian I just heard. Offer an option to turn auto translate on or off in Settings.

  10. Indication of words already saved and deduplication of saved words

I added a word to my vocabulary from chat at some point using the default 'Add to Vocabulary' button inside the word popup. I came across this word later and didn't realize it had already been added since there wasn't any indication as far as I remember. This time, I expanded the 'All Meanings' section and clicked the add button next to all 3 of the definitions shown since they were different enough to be worth remembering. When going through my vocabulary list later, I noticed that I now had 4 entries for this word, each with a single definition. There are a few issues with this flow: If I'm seeing a word in a chat that is already in my saved vocabulary, it should indicate that in some way. This indication should not only be inside the word popup, but it should also be emphasized some way within the chat. The latter is the part that provides that extra signal to the brain of either "you've saved this word in the past, so nice job remembering its meaning this time" or "you've saved this word in the past and still had no idea what it meant this time, so maybe you should do some focused practice with it". If I add multiple definitions to a word, they should be added to a single vocabulary entry. In my example above, I would expect a single entry for this word with 4 definitions. I would understand the duplication if this were a word that had been saved with different conjugations or declensions, but this was a basic standalone adjective with the exact same spelling. I think that the worst offender in this case was when I added multiple meanings for a word within the same popup and it resulted in separate entries for each of those meanings.

  11. add more filters options for flashcards

It would be great to filter the sentences and words like the date for examples to make it easier their visibility. Plus I got an email saying that: "(according to our spaced repetition algorithm, 96 words or sentences are available for review). Try to do at least 10 today and you'll make steady progress" but I have no idea of what words have been considered and I can't plan accordingly their repetition.

  12. Articles (gender) not just words by themselves

In Romance languages at least, I don't know about other ones, it is necessary to know the gender marker of a word to use it correctly. The flashcards only let you easily import the single word itself from chat, without the article or gender marker. I just signed up and bought a premium membership today and I am experimenting with the features and I really like being able to easily click and import a word from AI chat into my flashcards. Would be nice to be able to import the word with its article and also short phrases. BTW what convinced me to give Lengua a try was how committed you are to developing and improving the product. This suggestion section, for example, and also some Reddit posts by one of the developers. It's fun to be part of something so positive.

  13. App is no longer omitting, "filler words".

Today Inoticed that the app is no longer omitting my filler words. Every time I say, uh, um, or start to say a word and correct it, the app keeps those words in the chat. In the past it would remove those small interjections. Its adding every sound the mic picks up. I would rather it remove these things.

  14. Generate flashcard sentences using specific words

Currently when generating flashcard sentences the only options are to use recently saved words, almost learned words, and next due words. It would be helpful to have options that allow more control over generating flashcards, for example generating flashcards that use a comma-separated list of words, selected flashcards, an uploaded/linked list of words, etc. Even being able to specify the number of recently saved words that will be used to generate flashcards would be helpful.

  15. Adaptive learning: resume conversation from one day to another

It is well documented that vocabulary has to be repeated several times to be memorized. It would be useful if the AI speaker could record the mistakes the learner made from one conversation to another to practice them specifically until it is memorized.
