Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

I'm brushing up on my French and I would like the option to create flashcards of unfamiliar words with the definition in French instead of the English word. I think this option would appeal to everyone who isn't an absolute beginner.

I think it would be great in the future if there were more regional accents for us to choose from. It's always a challenge for English learners to fully understand speakers with different regional accents, such as those from Manchester, Birmingham, or even the Cockney accent.

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

I added a word to my vocabulary from chat at some point using the default 'Add to Vocabulary' button inside the word popup. I came across this word later and didn't realize it had already been added since there wasn't any indication as far as I remember. This time, I expanded the 'All Meanings' section and clicked the add button next to all 3 of the definitions shown since they were different enough to be worth remembering. When going through my vocabulary list later, I noticed that I now had 4 entries for this word, each with a single definition. There are a few issues with this flow: If I'm seeing a word in a chat that is already in my saved vocabulary, it should indicate that in some way. This indication should not only be inside the word popup, but it should also be emphasized some way within the chat. The latter is the part that provides that extra signal to the brain of either "you've saved this word in the past, so nice job remembering its meaning this time" or "you've saved this word in the past and still had no idea what it meant this time, so maybe you should do some focused practice with it". If I add multiple definitions to a word, they should be added to a single vocabulary entry. In my example above, I would expect a single entry for this word with 4 definitions. I would understand the duplication if this were a word that had been saved with different conjugations or declensions, but this was a basic standalone adjective with the exact same spelling. I think that the worst offender in this case was when I added multiple meanings for a word within the same popup and it resulted in separate entries for each of those meanings.

Hi team, would it be possible to hear a little sample of each AI voice in the settings before selecting which one you want? For now, you need to choose someone then start a chat with them to see if you vibe with the voice. Maybe it's not a huge deal for some people but feeling comfortable with the voice is important for me. Thank you!!

When adding a noun from a conversation to the flashcards, it should be added with an article - e.g. die Gesellschaft instead of only Gesellschaft. In German this is very important. I have to manually add it each time in the flashcards. I saw there was a similar request back in February but it is August now and I still cannot see this option.

It should not be so hard to toggle between languages. Many of us are learning languages at different levels, and have a lot of different needs (speed, etc) for each. It's such a pain to manually switch each of the different settings each time, and then switch back, that I just don't even do it. If there were a one-button switch to move me between my advanced French and beginner Portuguese and Intermediate German, I would order a premium subscription. I could easily practice three languages a day for more than a half hour. As it is, it's just not worth the effort to be constantly fiddling with the settings, and so I use Langa only for French and use Duolingo for the others. This request has been made before, but it's such an obvious need, and probably such a doable fix, that I have to say it again more clearly, and by highlighting the practical consequence: the absence of this feature is driving business elsewhere. Please put the videos and podcasts in the app, or at least some feature that easily link to them.

In order to better manage the card learning experience, it would be useful to have a star button (or something similar) to flag individual cards (when reviewing them or when editing them). This would allow to easily filter the starred ones without the need to type any tags, which is pretty time-consuming. Thanks!

i cannot click on a word or sentence in the flashcards to get more grammar info, or the pronounciation, neither can i delete it in that section

At the moment I like creating a story together with my parter. It would be great If it could replay audio recordings, so that I can listen to the whole story.

Like in Praktika AI it is such a great feature to speak about them or the let the tutor analyse them, depending on the question !
