  1. AI recommendation on daily learnings

Based on my previous learning and all my previous mistakes, the AI should suggest what and how to do and learn next. And it should provide such exercises directly for a learning time of 30 minutes or an hour.

  2. Have a “photo mode”where a photo is displayed and one needs to describe what is in it

Would be super helpful for people who still need to work on developing more vocabulary. Langu is by far the best ai tutor I have found but unfortunately lacks this feature.

  3. Level (A1-C2)

Is it possible to get an idea of the level that one person is currently at when downloading the feedback?

  4. Use Chat History for personal improvements

I think it would be great if the AI can access all of a user's chat history. In this way the AI can provide better conversation and can simulate better to be a real tutor. This feature can also be available only in premium accounts, I think it's worth it.

  5. Family plan

Short and sweet. I want a pro family plan or a couples plan for me and my wife under one bill.

  6. Practice speaking without conversation

I would like to be able to say anything I want without getting into a conversation. I'd like the AI to repeat and correct what I say without asking me a question to move the conversation forward. Ideally rate my pronunciation. I can then use repetition of the same or modified sentence to improve. I read a blog on Duolingo that said to learn to think in a language start by saying the first things that come into your head (it doesn't have to make sense) and over time put related words together and then eventually form sentences. Repeat as often as necessary for your brain to understand the words without translation.

  7. Mock exam

This could gain more attraction from the language learner if this platform has a Mock exam feature to assess proficiency level. For example in learning English, people want to know how much score they will get in IELTS exam. The mock exam should have the same structure as the actual exam: Listening Reading Speaking Writing It's not only limited to English but it can also be expanded to other language. French = DELF/DALF Dutch = NT2 German = TestDaF Chinese = HSK the list will go on and on

  8. Gender of nouns

As a new user, I miss the definite article with nouns in flashcards for languages requiring the definite article and qualifying adjectives, in my case, spanish.

  9. Analytics

It would be awesome if we got analytics on our learning process, such as what level we are at, where there has been improvement, how much time per day, % of things we get right. I know we get the chat feedback but actual numbers and graphs would be great.

  10. Dashboard

Maybe some kind of dashboard so you can see how you are improving and you can see what you´ve been working on? Also, some kind of reward system, where you can earn badges. It seems people like to earn points or badges even though in real life they're pintless. Not essential, just an idea :-)

  11. Show flags for multilingual chats (🇬🇧, 🇫🇷, 🇪🇸 …)

I use chats in several languages (e.g. English, French, Spanish). At the moment, however, all chats are shown in a single list, and it’s not immediately clear which language each chat is in. It would be very helpful if a small flag or a language label (e.g. 🇬🇧, 🇫🇷, 🇪🇸) were displayed next to each chat, so you can instantly see which language it belongs to.

  12. Correction in AI chat mode: Threshold

When you're in chat mode, and you have the setting enabled for forced repetition of corrections, it would be great if there was a slider in the settings that allowed you to set the threshold for when it would trigger this forced repetition of corrections. This would enable the user to indicate that if their sentence was only slightly wrong (i.e. 1 word was wrong) that it wouldn't trigger the forced repetition. I find the forced repetition of correction very useful, but when it happens on every sentence and on every error (no matter how small), then it kind of stunts the flow of the conversation and becomes a chore. In real life, an expert language teacher would not make you repeat and correct every single error you make, because that would be tedious. Rather, they would only highlight the trends and bigger errors, letting the smaller errors go for the sake of flow.

  13. Be able to ask how to say a sentence without getting into a conversation

I would like to have a selection - to be able to ask by voice how to say a sentence without getting into a conversation and maybe a couple different ways to say it. and after that the AI then ask if i need another sentence translated

  15. Allow to redo last phrase with AI

Sometimes pronunciation is not good, or I want to practice suggested (more natural phrase), but I cannot, as the dialogue moves forward. If there is a button to retry - it will give more room for improvement.
