  1. Show word gender and type on flashcards

It would be very helpful to indicate on the vocabulary flashcards the gender of nouns and whether the word in question is a noun, verb, etc.

  2. verb conjugating exercise.

would be nice to have a way to also used the spaced repetition feature with conjugations that you can choose what you want to work on for example the verb Hacer but work with it as a preterite or present subjunctive. Or also be able to pick a conjugation preference when having ai write a story use word to write story but i want the story to use mostly subjunctive examples for example.

  3. Ask me questions about the video content

I would like questions about the story that the machine can easily generate. Ask me questions that I can answer about the story. It will make me speak out loud, adding to the value.

  4. Add articles to nouns in the vocab

Since it's necessary to know if a noun is feminine or masculine it would be helpful to include the article.

  5. Allow AI to answer questions about its interests

I just started using the program today, and I would like the ability to ask AI questions (not about grammar - rather real life questions about its interests and whatnot), instead of just answering its questions - which is how a more natural and organic human conversation flows. I tried doing this, but the AI ignored me and just went on to ask me another question. That being said, this is the best AI format I have discovered among the many language programs available.

  6. Progress tab / gamification / reminders.

We'll show you how many minutes you've spent with comprehensible input, as well as how many words / sentences you've added each week / month. Using these stats, we'll also be able to remind you to study! You'll be able to turn this off in settings.

  7. Bulk delete option for saved vocabulary (flashcards)

This would save time if I have a lot of vocab to delete.

  8. Idiom Learning Tool for Enhanced Fluency

As a user of LanguaTalk, I appreciate the platform's approach to language learning and have a suggestion that could significantly benefit learners: adding a feature focused on learning idioms. Idioms are often challenging for language learners, but mastering them can greatly enhance fluency and understanding in a more native context. This feature could include a database of common idioms with examples and usage contexts, interactive exercises to practice and reinforce understanding, and quizzes or games to make learning idioms engaging and fun. Thank you for considering this suggestion; I believe it could be a valuable addition to your already excellent platform.

  9. Select parts of a sentence to store as flashcards

It would be great if you could add an expression used by the AI into your learning list, rather than just single words. As languages are often better learnt whilst chunking.

  10. Allow ability to click to select words to practice vocab with AI

The vocabulary practice with AI is amazingly powerful, but I would like a systematic way of choosing which vocab I want to practice rather than just "Last 12 added" or "Last 24" (FOR AI STORIES) or "Recently saved vocab" "Almost learned vocab", "Difficult vocab (COMMUNICATE WITH AI) You could do some tick boxes or something to choose words before you start the AI.

  11. Randomize the words I've added to 'My Vocab'

When I started with Langua 2 1/2 weeks ago, I spent a lot of time adding in German vocab I had in Anki. I'd like the chatbot to work with me on all these words/phrases. But the default is to the most recently added vocab. I like the communicative way of reviewing vocab better than the flashcard method. It causes me to have to think on my feet.

  12. Allow splitting vocab into separate lists for review and practice

You could have your 100s of most popular words and a separate list for a given topic and / or an additional one for your imported vocab.

  13. Automatically show Flashcard words in a sentence when they're first introduced or you're still learning them

Flashcards are an alright way to learn things in extreme isolation for me, but when I'm first seeing a word (via the high frequency words, for example), or I'm just struggling to grasp a particular word, they just have no mental anchor to help me learn them. We can already see usage examples after we've revealed the answer, but for me it'd be really useful to reenforce a word's usage in context early and often so I can better cement its meaning and how I'd use it. So I'd love to see more fleshed out flashcards instead of just lone words, without having to populate them myself through stories or custom imports.

  14. Add ability to quickly import a word/phrase without using the Google Sheet method

I enjoy using the AI features of Langua with vocab. Sometimes I hear a word and would like to practice it. But there's no way to do that other than firing up Google, open a Google sheet, importing, etc. Could you please put the ability to just add a new word in the vocab section, please? Thanks. It would be very, very helpful. Leave the ability to import words - that's great - but add this.

  15. Mock exam

This could gain more attraction from the language learner if this platform has a Mock exam feature to assess proficiency level. For example in learning English, people want to know how much score they will get in IELTS exam. The mock exam should have the same structure as the actual exam: Listening Reading Speaking Writing It's not only limited to English but it can also be expanded to other language. French = DELF/DALF Dutch = NT2 German = TestDaF Chinese = HSK the list will go on and on
